Dr. Péter Kovács is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist and psycho-oncologist at the National Institute of Oncology. For more than fifteen years, he has been working on the psychological support of cancer patients and their relatives, as well as on the development of psycho-oncological care. In addition to his clinical work, he is involved in education, research and professional development, and participates in both Hungarian and international professional programs.
An important focus of his professional interest is the integration of psychological perspectives into complex oncological care, the development of patient-centered and multidisciplinary approaches, and the clinical and ethical questions surrounding the responsible use of new technologies in psychological care.
