Szilvia Tamasi

Szilvia Tamasi is the Managing Director of We Love Budapest and Inda Press, and since 2025 she has also served as Managing Director of the business news portal Economx.

Throughout her career, she has gained experience across several areas of media, culture and business. She previously worked at the Libri-Bookline Group and MOL Hungary, and also gained professional experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

She earned her MBA from the Faculty of Economics at ELTE, and holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in political science from the Faculty of Law of ELTE.

As a leader, she is particularly interested in areas where culture, media, business and technology intersect. As one of the organizers of AI Summit Budapest, she actively works with the economic, social and creative industry impacts of artificial intelligence, while also using AI tools in her own work on a daily basis.

She is especially interested in how artificial intelligence is transforming the way media, book publishing and content production operate, and how these tools can be used meaningfully from both a business and creative perspective.
