He has delivered more than 500 international and national professional presentations and has authored or co-authored more than 170 publications and 34 book chapters. He is a member of the Board of the Hungarian Society of Radiologists and has supervised more than 75 medical students and 7 PhD students. He teaches radiology and nuclear medicine in English, German and Hungarian at Semmelweis University.
Between 2016 and 2019, he served as Head of the Ultrasound Unit at the Department of Radiology, Semmelweis University. From 2020 to 2025, he served as Head Physician and Head of the Center for Oncological Imaging and Invasive Diagnostics at the National Institute of Oncology. Since 2025, he has been Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the Department of Medical Imaging, Semmelweis University.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of Magyar Radiológia, a member of the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and a member of the Diagnostic Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He is also a Visiting Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University.
He serves on the Board of the Ultrasound Section of the Hungarian Society of Radiologists, on the Board of the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Section of the Hungarian Respiratory Society, and on the Conference Organising Committee of the European Society of Radiology.
His research interests include twin studies, interstitial lung diseases, hybrid imaging techniques, and artificial intelligence.
