Adrián González Sánchez

Adrián González Sánchez is a Technical Product Manager at Microsoft AI, where he leads product initiatives in web search, grounding technologies, and AI-powered platforms, contributing to products such as Bing Search and Microsoft WebIQ. He also serves as the Academic Director of two master's programs at IE University, where he teaches and shapes the next generation of AI and technology leaders. With more than 15 years of international experience spanning engineering, product management, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and executive education, he has collaborated with organizations across both the private and public sectors. Adrián is the author of multiple books published by O'Reilly Media, Packt Publishing, ANAYA Multimedia, and Marcombo Ediciones. He has also developed professional courses for LinkedIn Learning, The Linux Foundation, and DeepLearning.AI, and collaborates with GetSmarter–MIT Sloan on executive AI strategy programs. In addition, he teaches executive and continuing education programs with institutions including HEC Montréal and Concordia University. Beyond his work in industry and academia, Adrián actively contributes to AI governance and public policy initiatives. He is an expert participating in the Spanish Government's EU AI Act Regulatory Sandbox, supporting the practical implementation of the European AI Act, and has collaborated with public sector organizations and public policy initiatives focused on responsible AI, AI governance, standards, and regulatory compliance. His current research focuses on the economics of responsible AI, exploring how governance, regulatory compliance, transparency, and trust can create measurable business value, competitive advantage, and sustainable adoption of artificial intelligence. His work bridges cutting-edge AI technologies, business strategy, economics, governance, and public policy, helping organizations build trustworthy AI systems that deliver both societal and commercial impact.
