W. Péter Szabó

W. Szabó Péter is a Principal AI Architect at SAP, working at the intersection of enterprise AI and business process automation. He is also the founder of the startups Tengr.ai and AceTech. Since 2008, Péter has been building production-grade AI systems for both enterprise clients and his own ventures, ranging from document processing pipelines to agentic workflows. This hands-on experience has given him a practical understanding of what AI solutions can—and cannot—deliver in real-world environments. Today, nearly every line of code he writes is AI-assisted, fundamentally changing the way he approaches software development. In his view, the true bottleneck is no longer coding itself, but asking the right questions and designing the right architecture. Péter regularly benchmarks leading large language models on real-world tasks, believing that firsthand experimentation provides far greater insight than any marketing material. After all, nothing is more convincing than comparing how five different models perform on the exact same challenge.
