Olivér Norton Szabó

My passion for science began in kindergarten. In fact, I knew I wanted to study astronomy at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) before I even knew what primary school was. One of the greatest realizations of my early years was that I did not have to wait until university to immerse myself in astrophysics. In 2018, while still in high school, I began giving public astronomy lectures at the Pannon Observatory in Bakonybél. Alongside my university studies, I joined the Svábhegy Observatory as a public outreach astronomer, where I continue to welcome visitors through regular educational programs and observing sessions. I have also gained valuable experience in education, serving as an Educational Coordinator at ELTE and teaching physics at Imre Madách Secondary School in Vác. Today, I am fortunate to inspire the next generation by bringing young people closer to astronomy and the wonders of the Universe.
