Dr. Horváth Dóra

Her research focuses primarily on technological and industry transformation, with particular emphasis on the evolution of healthcare systems. Her work centers on the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare, holistic health approaches, and the societal, economic, technological, and institutional implications of the longevity paradigm. A key area of her research is exploring how healthcare systems can transition from a disease-centered model toward one that prioritizes prevention, healthy ageing, and the extension of healthy life expectancy. Her scientific achievements have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the Youth Award of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the János Bolyai Research Scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and multiple Corvinus Research Excellence Awards. Her research has been published in leading international scientific journals. Most recently, she was the only Hungarian author to contribute to a European policy recommendation developed by representatives of more than 100 international institutions, calling for the launch of a comprehensive European Longevity Program. The publication, published in the international journal Mechanisms of Ageing and Development, argues that Europe should treat the transition from disease-centered healthcare toward a model focused on healthy ageing, prevention, and the promotion of longer, healthier, and more active lives as a strategic priority.
