Futurist, writer, and visual artist (https://komlodi.hu). Since the 1990s, he has explored the relationship between humans and machines. He previously worked as a futurist at the National Council for Communications and Information Technology of Hungary and contributed to various foresight projects, while also working as a technology journalist. He has published several books, academic studies, and articles on these topics.
His current research and writing focus primarily on artificial intelligence, machine creativity, and transhumanism. His latest book is Eternal Life: Humanity's Path toward Creative Superintelligence and the Stars (Lumen, 2026).
For many years, he has served as the editor of From the Present to the Future, the blog of the John von Neumann Computer Society.
