Ádám Karakas

Ádám Karakas is a Managing Director and Partner at the Budapest office of Boston Consulting Group. As a recognized expert in BCG’s Energy, Climate and Sustainability practices, he has extensive experience in corporate strategy, operational excellence, business transformation, and decarbonization programs. Throughout his career, he has supported a wide range of leading corporations in the energy and industrial sectors in achieving their strategic and operational goals. His work has focused in particular on efficiency-driven transformations, operational improvements, and the implementation of more sustainable, lower-carbon solutions. During his years at Boston Consulting Group, he has gained broad international experience, working across Australia, the United States, the Middle East, the Baltic states, and several markets in Central and Eastern Europe. Ádám holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Rotterdam School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree from Corvinus University of Budapest.
