Georgi Yankov (US)

Georgi Yankov, PhD, is a senior scientist of assessment innovation at Hogan Assessments. He is recognized for his expertise in the fields of psychometrics, individual differences, and data science. Throughout his career, Georgi has developed multiple scientifically backed tests and simulations for assessing personality, intelligence, behavior skills, and integrity. At his previous positions at DDI, Georgi developed several LLM-powered products and AI infrastructure solutions, which score written responses to behavioral simulations with reliability that exceeds that of human assessors. Georgi’s extensive work has culminated in numerous publications, including papers in journals such as Personnel Psychology, Personality and Individual Differences, The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, and Journal of Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology. Furthermore, his leading-edge work has been showcased at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) annual conferences for the last 10 years. He has published a book on the forensic applications of MMPI, a popular science book in personality psychology (Personality: User’s Guide), and co- edited a SIOP handbook on AI and I-O Psychology.
