Dr. Judit Fendler was born in Pécs and studied economics at Corvinus University of Budapest (formerly the Károly Marx University of Economics), where she earned a degree in international studies and finance. She earned master’s degrees in financial management and healthcare management, the former from Corvinus University and the latter from Semmelweis University. He is currently enrolled in the PhD program at the Faculty of Social Sciences at ELTE, where he also teaches as a part-time lecturer. He began his career as an auditor at the accounting firm Arthur Andersen and participated in several international auditor training programs. He worked for approximately eight years at Budapest Bank in various management positions, and also gained experience in acquisitions and other financial areas (insurance). He holds three language certifications and is fluent in English and proficient in German and Spanish. Since 2007, he has been working as a consultant and manager in the fields of healthcare and higher education. He managed a multi-billion-forint European Union project at the University of Pécs and participated in the clinical consolidation program launched in 2011 at the University of Szeged. Most recently, he worked as the director of finance and logistics at the Hungarian Armed Forces Medical Center, while also overseeing the Center’s operations as a ministerial representative.
