“As the former head of Elender, once Hungary’s leading internet service provider, and today as Chairman of the Board of Cardnet and Founder of Doktor24, my experience lies primarily in the digital and healthcare sectors, particularly in creating innovative solutions and bringing them to market. My background as former Minister of Economy and Transport, combined with my entrepreneurial experience, brings a distinctive mix of sectoral, social and public administration perspectives to my business approach.
I graduated as a medical doctor in the 1990s, then achieved my first successes as an internet entrepreneur. In the 2000s, I moved into government and later parliamentary work, and from 2010 onwards became an investor and executive in Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises, including Cellum, Festipay, Cardnet and Doktor24. Due to my responsibilities, I have spent significant time in Western Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
In addition to developing businesses, I have also worked as a consultant on various digital transformation projects for foreign government clients. In recent years, I have primarily contributed to public discourse on healthcare and health policy, as well as on medical topics related to longevity.”
