GA Gábor Dénes Prize-winning physician-scientist and molecular pharmacologist, he has been working in the field of precision oncology and the personalized application of molecularly targeted anticancer drugs for nearly 30 years. He is the author of more than 200 scientific publications.
He is the Founder, President and Chief Scientific Officer of Genomate Health, based in Boston, USA; the Founder of Oncompass Medicine; and a Research Professor at the Institute of Advanced Studies (iASK).
Over the past decades, together with his colleagues, he was among the first to apply various molecular diagnostic methods in the predictive diagnostics of drug therapies. More recently, together with his team, he became the first to develop a specialized artificial intelligence-based medical software solution designed to support the selection of molecularly personalized targeted anticancer treatments.
Their achievements have been recognized by leading international professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and DIGITALEUROPE, the association representing European technology companies. The development was described by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen as the next medical breakthrough, and in 2023 Genomate was selected to participate in the White House CancerX program.
In April 2024, Genomate successfully completed the medical AI accelerator program of Mayo Clinic in Rochester, USA, one of the world’s most renowned research hospitals. Mayo Clinic’s goal is to improve healthcare for half of the world’s population through the medical AI solutions it supports.
In April 2026, Genomate was selected among the top 5% of healthcare innovations invited to the UN General Assembly Davos C3 Silicon Valley Healthtech Summit in Sunnyvale, Silicon Valley.
