Balogh Péter (Petya) is one of Central Europe’s best-known figures in the tech industry. His career began in the early 2000s, when he worked on Nokia’s WiFi product development team. He later founded PDAmill, a mobile game studio that went on to win international awards. In 2004, he co-founded NNG, the company behind the iGO navigation software, which grew to more than $100 million in annual revenue and a global team of over 800 employees. After stepping back from day-to-day operations, he became an active angel and institutional investor, supporting more than 100 startups and making a significant contribution to the development of the Central and Eastern European startup ecosystem. He is also widely known from the Hungarian TV show Cápák között (Shark Tank), where through his investments and mentorship he has inspired a new generation of entrepreneurs.
